Meet the director
Ciara Glass began her dance journey at the age of 12 and has since then dedicated herself to the art form. She worked as an apprentice for two dance companies in high school, the Black Rock Dance Company and the Sierra Nevada Ballet, and guest performed for the Dysrhythmia Contemporary Dance.
Ciara also competed in many classical and contemporary competitions across the West Coast, earning national recognition for her performances. After high school, Ciara continued her training at the University of Arts in Philadelphia, where she learned under accomplished choreographers such as Sidra Bell, Kim Bears-Bailey, and Roni Koresh. She has also trained in world-renowned studios like Peridance, The Ailey Studios and the Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, among others. Ciara has performed, choreographed and taught dance all over the country, including in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Reno, and San Jose. She is passionate about dance and believes that everyone can benefit from it, regardless of their background or experience. Through her studio and C.Glass Dance Co., Ciara aims to inspire younger generations of dancers to pursue their dreams and encourage every adult to discover their passion for dance
